TOEFL Speaking - Section 2
Watching a sport event on TV or Live? Part 2 Sample
Is it better to study in a group or individually?".
In response to this question, I would say that being an avid fan of sports I have always preferred to watch sporting events live.
First of all, going to an actual game is by far more exciting. Not only do you get to mingle with the crowd, but also to catch that unforgettable vibe which is simply unavailable otherwise. All the hundreds of fans cheering and spectacular moves happening before your very eyes magnify the pleasure tenfold.
Second of all, attending a game in person is memorable. As a rule, a baseball game or a football match, for instance, is something you always look forward to because it is a special event in itself. On top of that, you can even get an autograph from your favorite player or maybe even get a picture to remember the day by. So, such days usually etch in your mind virtually forever.
